Welcome to Flashpoint Photography

Flashpoint is a new photographic business owned and operated by established Swindon photographer Jason Spickett. After much success with his other photography company 'Highland Photographic' Jason is now using his photographic skills to offer a range of event and freelance photography services. With a desire to produce the most attractive and professional images possible Jason now travels across the Wiltshire area in the South of England as well as Scotland to offer affordable photographic services for both Flashpoint and his sister company Highland Photographic.

Why two companies? By the very name itself Highland Photographic sounds like a business that is based in Scotland and sells images of Scottish castles and landscapes, and for want of a better description that's what it is. Jason thought a second business name would be a good idea, firstly to allow him to offer a wider range of photographic services in the South of England where he is based, and secondly to allow Highland Photographic to remain as a Scottish based business that captures the beauty of Scotland. A decision was made, and Flashpoint Photography was launched in August 2005.

What's on offer from this new business and why should I use him! It is true to say that Jason is more experienced at photographing old Castles, Monuments, landscapes and just about everything that isn't a human being, but we all have to start somewhere! Jason has been a photographer for well over 15 years now and knows his way around a camera pretty well. Jason remembers how hard it was to get his first photography business established and is not blind to the fact that he has to prove himself in the supply of a different kind of service, but how can you sell yourself without an extensive portfolio? And how on earth can you put a portfolio together when everyone wants a photographer with one? That's a massive saving as most photographers would charge in the region of £75 - £100 per hour to attend at your event.
